I applied for the position and received an enthusiastic email from their Global Talent Acquisition Lead. He asked for my availability and we exchanged several emails over the course of a few days scheduling the interview. Like so many employers seem to find acceptable these days I was promptly ghosted. All communication was cut off including questions sent over LinkedIn. It baffles me that adults, let alone professionals working at a company like this could be so rude. It take no effort whatsoever to send an automated message notifying an applicant that the employer has concluded the hiring process, that they have not been selected, or that they no longer wish to proceed to an interview. Carrying on a mock interview process with no real intention of interviewing is a waste of both the interviewee and employer's time. I did not expect this level of unprofessionalism from this company.
