Interview
The interview process for this Analyst position felt both confusing and outdated. Initially, I applied for the role and didn’t hear back for about 6-7 weeks. Eventually, a recruiter reached out via email, asking when it would be convenient to send an Excel assessment. After I replied with my availability, they sent over the test, which included intermediate to advanced Excel questions centered around sales data. I completed the assessment and submitted it promptly.
After finishing the assessment, I was informed that the interview wouldn’t be scheduled for another three weeks. On the interview day, it was scheduled for two hours with three expected interviewers, but only one showed up. The questions were basic, like “Tell me about yourself,” along with some discussion of the assessment. The process felt outdated and disorganized.
Adding to my doubts, it took almost two months from my initial application to get any contact, which raises a red flag. I suspect this might have been a "ghost job" posting, especially since a friend had the exact same experience with this role and company. Overall, this experience left me questioning the legitimacy of the role and the company's intentions.
