I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Build-A-Bear (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2017
Interview
I had a group interview with 4-6 other people and it was actually very competitive and we basically had to do bunch of little activities and the managers judged us. i went into the interview not THAT into having the job but my competitive side jumped out once I noticed how prepared and competitive everyone else was lol who would have thought, right? then half of us were called back the next week for a second interview with formal questions

basic interview questions; who is your inspiration, why do you want to work here, etc
The interview process was super easy and simple and everyone was very nice. It was at the mall. Not really a super intense job. Management is lit. Staff seemed easy going, overall.
We jumped around the store like idiots yelling “I want to work for build-a-bear. It was a group interview. Would not do again, I don’t have to be degraded to show I want to be employed. Either hire people or dont, cut the theatrics.
