      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Buildium in Apr 2013

      Interview

I applied online and had a phone interview with the HR person a few days later. That interview was focused on what Buildium's values were and how I would fit in there. After that, I was sent two technical assessment projects, which took about a week for me to finish. After that, I had two more interviews, the first with a senior developer and the second with the development manager. Both of those were focused on technical questions and how Buildium worked from a developer perspective. My last interview was with a couple members of the team I would be working on, which consisted of learning about that team and going over my technical assessment with another developer. The interview process ended up taking a fair amount of time, due to scheduling around vacations and other things, but they were very responsive and I was kept up to date during the process.

      Question 1

The technical assessment is lengthier than it seems at first glance, but it's a good test for the type of work we do.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Buildium (Boston, MA) in Nov 2013

      Interview

The process started with a phone screening with HR. They asked about previous positions and core values. The next step was to do a technical exercise. This project seems small, but that is the trick; it's actually quite complicated. Lastly the in-person interview was setup in many stages and lasted about 3 hours. Here I spoke with one of the founders, HR, the development manager, and other developers.

      Question 1

None of them stand out to me. They were all challenging overall.
