I had the opportunity to participate in 6 interviews over a four-week period for a project manager role.(AI interview, Phone Screen, personality test, Mgr Interview, 2 Peer Interviews and VP) Only to be informed that the role was moving in a different "direction". The process felt overly long and repetitive, with multiple levels of approvals and peer reviews, which seemed excessive for such a flat organization. I typically decline interview processes with more than three rounds, but I decided to see this process through. Despite the drawn-out process, everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. It appears they have a specific candidate profile in mind, so if you match their criteria, you should be a strong fit. Thankfully, I am currently employed and was just exploring opportunities passively. Otherwise, I would have been quite frustrated by the wasted time.
