I applied online for Romper. About a week later received an email to set up a call. The interview went well, and I was told I would recieve an email shortly regarding the edit test. Literally an hour later I recieve a generic email telling me that they have decided to move on regarding the application process, and suggested I apply to another vacant position on their website. Why even waste my time and tell me to look for an email for the next step if you didn't want to give it to me in the first place?
