Question 1
No real difficult questions. Questions all based on previous experience of tutoring math and science subjects. Asked for scores I received on various AP and SAT exams.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at C2 Education in Aug 2011
Interview
Required to take the SAT II for math (basically a pre-calculus test) to gauge memory of HS math. The Beaverton center takes the results of the test pretty seriously. They want you to be in a certain percentile or above to get the second interview. There was then an in-person interview with the couple that runs the franchise that was honestly a little intimidating. After that I had a trial/training run with another tutor at a lower ($14/hr) pay before I was fully hired on. It's a franchise, so it's like different from location to location, but they do give recommendations to other centers if you're moving.
