I interviewed 6 months prior but they wanted me to move halfway across the country with no relocation reimbursement and 18 dollars an hour in an expensive city without benefits or job security. This initial interview involved a phone call from someone who just casually chatted with me. Eventually after chatting they requested a video interview which I agreed to. It was a rather informal interview where I told stories relating to my work experience and principles. They seemed to be interested and requested proof of insurance and 3 references to move onward. However relocating for the job was not realistic or feasible with the offered salary. 6 months later another recruiter called and informed me of a remote opportunity. I scheduled an interview the next day and to my surprise there was no interview she just offered me a job and asked if I could start tomorrow. They seemed really desperate for new people.
