Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter the HR director uses; she was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic. First interview: (~30 minutes) With the HR Director. Very relaxed, yet professional experience. Asked the general interview questions and told me about the position. (I learned in the next interview that the role she described wasn't really like what they were looking for in the department)
-Contacted by the recruiter to set up a second interview.
Second interview: (~2 hours) First, met with the VP of the department. Very nice and relaxed, personable and seemed genuinely interested. Next, I met with the two other members of the department; great guys! They seemed interested in actually knowing the candidate; no blindsiding questions, just straight forward. It was an enjoyable experience and I thought it went well.
I was contacted a few days later by the recruiter that I didn't get the job; they actually chose to not have the position anymore.
It was a good experience. From everything I gathered, it sounds like a great company and like somewhere I would really want to be employed.
My largest issue was the lack of communication directly from the HR Director. (She's incredibly nice and helpful, it just would have been nice to be contacted by her).
