A recruiter contacted me for a role I really liked. I was thoroughly impressed with him to provide a stellar candidate experience. During the course of few months, I spoke with a few leaders in the organization who asked questions about motivation, industry knowledge, technical skills, and culture fit. The more I spoke with the team, the more I got motivated to join the company. I rejected few offers from startups and fortune 50 companies to be part of CDK at this inflection point.
i interviewed at a lot of places before CDK. i've seen the worst and the lazy and the non-responsive recruiter. CDK was great, responsive, professional. they promised me things and followed through. the actual interview process was easy compared to some of the other big names out there. it was fairly short and direct. a couple of phone interviews then a flight into town for the face to face.
