I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at CDK Global in Aug 2025
Interview
I had a 30-minute call with their executive recruiter. She asked various questions that didn't actually get to understanding what strategy or approaches I would take to achieve the stated goals of the role in question. It was all sort of oblique boilerplate stuff that failed to demonstrate an understanding of what the role entailed. They're trying to work through a DTI, which is familiar territory, but there were no questions about experience with other DTIs. It's hard to say if she was just having a bad day, but she seemed unhappy to be there and pretty contentious from the start.
At the end of the call, she said to follow up in two weeks to give them time to speak with everyone. I did so, with no response, and then twice more over the subsequent few weeks with no response. I found this to be highly unprofessional and rude. If you speak to someone face to face you owe it to them to answer their email at the very least. If this is the way CDK does business, then I can't imagine working there would be desirable to anyone.
