I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CDW (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2018
Interview
I was referred through my friend that works there. There is a personality test as well as a situational test. An initial phone call with the recruiter describing the job and making sure you’re still interested. The next phone interview with the recruiter was about 30 minutes. Some questions about my resume and previous work experience, why sales, why cdw, why IT sales etc. Then got into behavioral questions. I answered all the questions and every time the recruiter was rude and kept saying after every answer I gave “I’m sorry maybe you didn’t understand the question so I’ll say it again” out of the maybe 6 behavioral questions this happened with at least 3-4 of them. It made me feel really uncomfortable because I was giving good answers and I do have sales experience. I think the recruiter was giving me a hard time on purpose because when I called him the first time he wasn’t there and didn’t have his voicemail set up and my friend who works there notified the manager about that. I think the recruiter was purposely being rude to me because of that situation.
great, fast and simple it was very straight forward and hiring manager was nice, would highly recommend the company to any new grads and full times. speedy interview process and fast response time
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at CDW (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2021
Interview
Horrible.... It took almost two months of interviews and email rallies to learn the position was taken by an applicant from two months before I was even contacted. They probably realize the contact information and data regarding applicants is worth more than the time of day they give each applicant.
