- Very Quick Interview Process
- I got a contact of VP Engineering (Mr. Vasu) from a website and shoot an email to him. Got a swift reply and scheduled interview on the next day.
There are 3 rounds for the interview process.
1. Phone Screening(1st day) - Hiring manager called me and gave the intro about the company and the position. Then asked me some basic Data Structures, Algorithms, Complexities related questions. Pulled out one my project on GitHub and asked some basic questions and gave his suggestions about how to implement those things properly. I successfully cleared this round so he scheduled my 2 & 3 round.
(They always ask for your project code base and they really study it in depth. This is the best thing I've ever seen)
2. Coding Challenge(2nd day) - They sent me a coding challenge in which I've to create 4 RESTapi routes with Django, Elasticsearch, restless. I was totally new to this segment so asked for some time and they granted it, in addition, they helped me a lottttttt to solve it.
3. On-site Interview (4th day) - I went over there on their HQ in Plano, TX. It was 1.5 hr technical and behavioral mix type of interview. The interview was conducted by Mr. Rob (CEO), Mr. Vasu (VP-Engineering), Mr. Alin (VP-Marketing), all of them were very nice. They asked me about one of my projects in depth, so many questions, and future plans. Really, they were focussing on real-life issues.
4. Coding Challenge Submit (6th day) - Just submitted the pull request with my solution and reviewed by the interviewer in front of me and show me how to do it properly. Told me to wait for other reviews.
5. Offer (8th day) - Give me a job offer.
6. Accepted (9th day) - Accepted the offer.
