Very straightforward interview process, and the team was very friendly. The interview process was very professional. I came prepared with metrics and numbers from several previous employers. The scheduling was easy to navigate with help from a team of recruiters. Overall, it seems like a really cool company.

Interview
First I spoke with the TA person. I asked her what is the hiring manager looking for in the ideal candidate? She give me a reasonable list (which was off target).
I met the hiring manager for about 5-min. Nice enough guy; but he was laser focused on my network. He wanted to know who I SPECIFICALLY know who can then build an instant golden pipeline.
It's fine to want that (can't say if it's reality based), my issue is why didn't the hiring manager share this request with the TA person so I would not have wasted my time with this fantasy?
