I applied for the position in September and was contacted by phone regarding my interest in the position three months later. I was informed by email on a Thursday (in December) that I was scheduled for a telephone interview the following Tuesday at 11:30 AM and it would tale approximately thirty minutes. The interviewer was very polite and began the interview by reviewing the job description and duties. I was encouraged to ask questions and did so frequently. The interview was very casual toward the end and the interviewer complimented me on my preparedness and direct way of communicating. She verified all of my information necessary to send an offer letter to me if I was selected for employment. The next morning I received a call confirming I had been selected and was being sent an offer letter for review and had 72 hours to accept or decline. I did accept the position and due to the nature of the job I selected, I was only surprised by the length of time it took to get an interview. The position had been posted (according to their web site) for more than six months.
