I received an email from the HR Manager a few weeks after applying. Once I submitted writing samples, I was asked to take a three-part test that was extensive and timely. Then I moved forward with an interview with two managers via Skype. They were friendly and asked thoughtful questions initially. I was then asked to submit references and would have a second interview with the higher ups. This is when the entire process became very unprofessional. They asked me to set up specific times with my references to call. The manager only called one of three of my references around 9PM and at a time that was not listed as her availability. The other references were expecting a call at a set time and never received any word. Then I had the second interview with two managers. Last minute they changed from a Skype Interview to a Wechat interview. When we finally all got on the call, the interviewers seemed like they were in a huge hurry and I could tell they weren't listening to anything I was saying. I tried to give thoughtful responses and they give little to no feedback on the questions I asked in return. After submitting writing samples, taking a test, submitting references and having two interviews, the manager didn't bother to follow up with me. It wasn't until a month later that I followed up and they simply told me that I didn't get the job. This is a timely process (2+ months) that even the managers seem to not want anything to do with.
