      Interview

The day I applied I got an email saying I was advancing to the first round of interviews. Excel skills test, written questions, and a video. The Excel skills test they allotted 30 minutes for which was pretty accurate. The written questions they said 10-20 minutes and you also didn’t HAVE to answer all the questions but got bonus points for doing so, so of course I answered them all but that took closer to 30-40 minutes. Which basically took up the 70 minutes they said t should take. Next, the dreaded video. They gave another 10-20 minutes. Since I’m not good with videos m/public speaking it took me FOREVER to do, probably another 50 minutes. I typed up what I was going to say and recorded it... then rerecorded... then rerecorded several more times before I was ok with it. I just hope they think I’m more quirky and not too awkward! (Please, oh please!) Side note: I saw a couple reviews saying CT posts the interviews to youtube and that they (the person reviewing) thought that was a major breach of privacy and a red flag. I panicked (again I submitted my super awkward video at this point) so I looked into it. Thank goodness those reviewers were wrong (insert exaggerated exhale lol). Those interview videos were from applicants posting to their personal pages, most likely in order to upload the video to the test page. That was almost how I did it too but went with recording on my phone, emailing it to myself and saving t on my computer, then uploading it from my computer to the test page.

      Question 1

Introduce yourself. Why are you interested in this industry. Why are you excited about the company. Why should they hire you. Greatest accomplishment. Describe your last job.

Thanks for taking the time to apply with us! You are correct- the Youtube videos of applicants were a result of people incorrectly posting their video to their own public profiles rather than uploading them through the application software itself! Best of luck in the hiring review!

      Interview

Make you do extensive skills tests before any sort of communication. During the application process they use language that makes you feel like you're going to miss out on an interview opportunity (which likely won't happen anyway) if you don't complete every OPTIONAL step. For example, when you submit the form with your details they mention that people who complete what's essentially free research for them will be prioritised. Then you continue on to do what could be considered ridiculously lengthy tests for them. They also require a 5 minute video introduction to be sent to them too, so you feel judged before meeting a single person. It's invasive, and who knows if biases will be used against you for silly things like your appearance? They say in the confirmation emails that it will take up to 30 days to review your tests but when you check their tracking system, it gives the actual amount of days which is 30-60.

      Question 1

Various tasks on Excel, 5 minute introduction video, and several pages of written questions. Some of which are irrelevant to the workplace such as, "what do you do in your free time?"

      Interview

The process has included completing an application form, answering written questions about my experience and skills, and responding to scenario-based questions designed to assess communication, judgment, and problem-solving abilities. I appreciate the opportunity to demonstrate my qualifications through these exercises.

It was okay, pretty standard. Did some skills test when applying, and then a half hour interview months after applying. I think the jobs are constantly open to get applicants then you might be emailed if there's an opening. From what I hear, the attrition rate is pretty high.
