What is the most difficult challenge you ever had?
the interview felt conversational but challenging. The interviewer was interested in understanding how I reason through problems rather than looking for memorized answers. Having a solid understanding of distributed systems, backend architecture, production debugging, and being able to explain your own projects in depth is important for this role.

Walk me through your current project from the architecture down to your individual contribution, and explain a production issue you personally solved.
Surprisingly tough — the technical rounds were challenging, especially the schema design and pipeline construction. Initially, I felt a bit overwhelmed when they asked about managing stakeholder conflicts, but I held my ground. Funny enough, while prepping, I spent hours on PracHub working through similar real-world scenarios, which paid off big time. In the end, I received an offer, but I decided to decline. Overall, it was a solid experience that tested my skills.

The interview process went smoothly. It was an hour interview and the interviewees asked questions that were based mostly on the resume and they were trying to match with the job requirements. Although their requirements didn't match well with my skill set, I think I did well in the interview.
