I got this job by networking through Food & Beverage departments in two casinos, and into Marketing at Caesars. The interview took place in the Marketing department, in the Marketing Manager's office. There were four levels of Marketing Assistant, and I interviewed for the entry level position. This was way below my experience level, although I had little experience in casinos, and had been working in Culinary at that time. The interview seemed to be going nowhere, but the manager was friendly enough and he pressed on, asking questions about my entire work history. Finally, he requested creative work from me, and specified that I had to communicate by email only, not text message. I wasted two hours creating a world class experience for high rollers, submitted it by email, only to be ghosted. Never give creative work away for free; that's my advice. At subsequent interviews in this company, people in Human Resources mentioned some of the party and event ideas that I'd submitted to Marketing. It was weird, to say the least.
