You apply online about halfway through the academic year to secure a position for the following academic year. The interview process is fairly streamlined; you pick a time slot for an interview which lasts about an hour. A the time it was a 2:1 person interview with the possibility of several other candidates being interviewed around you (there are many FDA positions to fill). Several weeks later you'll receive an email on whether or not you got the position and further instructions if you did. You're obligated to live on campus for the duration of the academic year and participate in the Welcome Week Program for two weeks leading to the start of classes.
