Applying and interviewing to a CSU requires one to be extremely patient. I submitted an application back and June and was invited to an interview in October. Prior to the interview, they asked me to prepare a 5-min. PPT presentation and provided to 20+ interview questions 24 hours before the interview. That's nice, except for, now you're expected to be well-prepared in your answers. After interviewing, I didn't hear back for a month, only after I reached out to them for an update. They were quick to respond and HR did provide me with consistent updates. Finally, a month after I reached out to them for an update, I was offered the position. Submitted application in the summer, invited to an interview that required a presentationinterviewed once in the fall, didn't hear from them for weeks, reached out several times, HR responded and provided updates consistently, until finally being offered the position. Be patient with the CSU system, their hiring process can be lengthy.
