The interview process started with a 15-minute conversational interview call with a recruiter. The conversation was professional and focused on my background, experience, and alignment with the role. The recruiter explained the role clearly and outlined the next steps. I am currently moving forward to the second round.

Interview
Recruiter, panel with hiring manager, director?
Got to the panel interview. Everyone was not welcoming, tired. Vibes were off. Was asked sql questions verbally but was not communicated clearly, so asked clarifying questions. At the end the manager said he "hates people who ask the same questions over and over again". Immediate red flag. As an analyst communication should be clear and open.
Makes sense as why the other analyst had an open to work on their linkedin profile for everyone to view.
Rated interview as difficult since communication was off. They were only looking for answers with windows functions but some can be solved in other ways. Example is nth highest salary.
