I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Camping World in Nov 2024
Interview
A couple of weeks. An initial recruiter phone interview which went great and feedback was that I was ideal for the role. The next step was a zoom call with the hiring manager. She was pleasant and I thought it went well, but I could tell from subtle hints that there was some concern for my age. She was a young manager; I am not young. Despite a very good discussion that went about 10 minutes beyond the allotted time, I was ghosted for a couple weeks past when I was told I would hear something. I reached back to the recruiter to find out that I wasn't selected, but couldn't get any specifics as to where things didn't line up. It is now two months later and the role is still being posted on the job boards. Something clearly amiss and a huge disappointment for a candidate that was very gung ho for the role and had the right background to their business. (The next and final step would have been another zoom call with the next level up VP.)

Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. The first interview was pretty standard in terms of describing the role and asking for a basic summary of what I do. I elected not to move forward with the company.
