Two interviews, second with a case to resolve. The whole interview process was average with one of the interviewers clearly not having read my CV before.
The big surprise came when after interviewing for a role they offered me a position one level below. I obviously declined the offer. I just wonder if this is something they usually do or I was unfortunate.

Initial chat with recruiter to discuss background, followed by a competnency based interview with managing consultant, then an unseen case study interview with a principal consultant, with a short final round with a senior partner.

The process started with an initial recruiter conversation, followed by technical interviews covering coding, system design, and architecture. The final round was with senior leadership and focused on consulting skills, communication, stakeholder management, and previous project experience. The interviewers were professional and approachable, and the discussions felt conversational rather than interrogative. There was a slight delay in scheduling the final interview, but communication throughout the process was clear.
I've gone through four interview stages, a personality test, which I always find a bit awkward, had to submit a portfolio of projects Ive worked on, and prepare a deck and deliver a 15-min presentation to the partners
