It was highly unprofessional. The HR who called me to enquire about my interest in the position asked if I would take a maternity leave after joining the company because as I was a woman, I might tend to do that. I had to reply that "No I'm not planning to have children". After the 1st interview round, which was conducted online, they sent a mail saying I passed the interview and was moved to the 2nd round. And I showed up at the 2nd interview, and the interviewers did not show up. With simply no notice, they were a no-show. And after repeatedly asking them through calls, the HR responds that she's no longer in charge of recruitment and that the interviewers had some personal plans which was why the interview could not happen and that they chose someone else (a male candidate) without even interviewing me.
