I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Capgemini (Pune) in Jun 2025
Interview
I received a call from a recruiter who inquired about my experience and salary expectations. She was comfortable with the details I shared and proceeded to schedule my interview. I successfully cleared the technical round and then had an HR discussion, during which I was told that the offer approval process would be initiated. However, after two days, I received an email from Capgemini stating that my application was rejected as they could not meet my expected compensation due to company norms. This was quite disappointing and frustrating—if the budget was a constraint, it would have been better to address it before moving forward with the interview process. Additionally, there was no attempt to discuss or negotiate the compensation. I simply received a rejection email despite clearing all interview rounds.
For context, my previous fixed salary was 21 LPA, and I had requested 23 LPA fixed.
Was good.Consisted of multiple discussion rounds , face to face meeting and testing before the final offer was given Had a good experience with the hiring team and the flow was seamless.
