I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group (Indianapolis, IN) in May 2015
Interview
In total I had 4 interviews.
1 initial phone interview. Pretty simple. She scheduled me for the next step right then. 1 regular phone interview I believe was probably my most difficult only because I stumbled a lot and didn't think I would get past that. But THANKS TO GOD I moved to the next round. One day later i got an email to schedule the next step. Then 1 webcam interview. Where your actually speaking with someone through web chat. Which was fairly simple. One day later I got an email scheduling the next step. Then 1 one onsite interview. They play a couple mock calls for you. The ambassador answered all of your questions. Then they split you up and take you to your single interview with 2 individuals. They ask you a series of questions. 20 total I believe. Please be prepared..."tell me a time." Or "explain how you would handle..." Such as those. Then after the one on one interview they take you all on a tour of the beautiful campus. It was lovely.
I got a call a day later saying I've moved to the next interview process which is the background, employer history and reference check. Which took 2.5 weeks but I got a call for the offer. Which was so exciting.
And now I'm an employee.

Question 1
" Tell me a time ... " - "describe to me how you would " be sure to use the STAR method. Research it and the company.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital Group (Irvine, CA) in Apr 2026
Interview
First was a Zoom interview w/ recruiter. If you move in then it's two in person interviews on the same day with different hiring managers. Standard STAR format questions. They give you a tour of the campus and offices to give you a sense of the working environment.

Interview
Recruiting screen. Invitation to interview came three business days after I applied. Pretty standard questions, the recruiter was nice and supportive. My only complaint was that they told me to reach out with questions and strongly implied I would be moving forward. After some time has passed I reached out with questions. Didn’t hear anything until I got an automated email telling me the position was filled.
