I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
The interview process consisted of 3 rounds:
1. Recruiter Screening
2. Mini Case Study Round : 1 case study based on printer sales and how to increase them
3. Power Day : 3 Case Studies and 1 Product Interview
The power day case studies are similar to the mini case round but have an added level of complexity (in terms of numerical calculations)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the product interview, I was asked to talk about my favorite site/app. Then they asked more questions related to the app, why I liked the app, what made it special compared to other competitors out there, etc.
In the second part of the product interview, the will give you a product (in my case an umbrella) and ask you 10 ways in which you can improve the product (design, functionality, cost etc)
Recruiter Call, Mini Case and then a power day with 2 case studies and 1 product case study. Process was overall smooth. Appropriate documents and resources were provided to prep for the interview.
The interview was based on 3 phases. First was screening on call then a video interview with mini case then a power day with 3 phases including product interview, case based and economics based.
First, Screening call: the HR simply walked you thru the interview process and schedule the next round of interview - mini-case. I haven't done the mini case yet. Mini case, just search online for potential cases and prepare for it.
