Interview
First round a normal one on one. Next a, full day interview process with 4 different meetings split across 1 hour each throughout a single day. Out of which two rounds were just to solve mathematical questions. If PMs were ever good enough at Maths they would have chosen starting to be a developer and moved up to be technical architects. If you want individuals to be really good at being a PRODUCT MANAGER, they ain’t be solving your math. They will be someone solving how your customers think and react to your product. They will be somebody with high practical and logical thinking which isn’t solving Math. If you want your PMs to succeed drill them how good they are with your customers, product design, implementation, your competitors market. God made people different.

Declined to continue after phone screening because the recruiter was so out of touch with the actual roles they are recruiting for. They displayed a fundamental lack of understanding of what Product teams have open roles and what they do at a high level, and even actively discouraged me from continuing the process because they have a “rigorous, full day interview process” that I “shouldn’t participate in if I don’t feel a strong fit.” They then backtracked and tried to get me to continue, but I already withdrew my application.
The interview process was extensive, involving multiple rounds. Each stage required a deep, detailed understanding of every project I’ve managed — architecture decisions, challenges faced, and outcomes achieved. This thorough approach ensured both technical depth and clear communication were evaluated at every step.
