Interview
Telephone Interview. Given data beforehand and then given the headings during the interview. Mostly basic math involving percentages and break-even analysis. Have to consider different ways the firm in the scenario can increase revenue. Whole interview only lasts 30 minutes and then receive outcome within a few days. Important to fully understand question before jumping into the calculations.
Smooth; minicase is verbally presented; may be hard to understand depending on the interviewer. May need to ask many more questions to clarify the questions asked during the case. But overall, it is fairly easy
Three rounds of interviews, two of them are case based to assess technical knowledge (first case is relatively easy, calculation needed), one is mainly behavioural questions with the team leader
1st round was 45 mins. Simple case (profitability and basic business acumen) plus a bit of behavioural
2nd round was in-person; networking dinner the night before, and then two back to back interviews (an hour long case and a 30 min behavioural)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
For the case it was breakeven calculations and basic business questions (e.g. what are the risks and mitigations associated with this venture...)
