Here is a scenario. Walk me through how you would brainstorm.
One of the worst interview processes I've ever experienced. I won't be applying to Capital One again.
To the recruiter: please stop calling candidates multiple times during the workday. I found it frustrating that she preferred phone calls over email because she thought it was easier. As someone who currently works onsite, this put me in an uncomfortable position.
The interview itself also felt odd. The Power Day gave me the impression that the culture if off big time. Based on my experience, I didn't feel like it was an environment where I would thrive.

I had a mini case interview. I tried reaching out to the recruiter to ask for any guidance and was told a few days later when I followed up that they couldn't provide any.
Then the day of interview - I was feeling very sick yet I did not reschedule so that it isn't considered unprofessional. We start and there were some echo issues and the interviewer was so rude that my mind just stopped working for a bit right then. The energy was very poor from the start. I have had poor experiences with the interviewers before too at Cap one where they are just in a rush to get it done. Please treat people with empathy and keep the energy positive in the room. It goes a long way. We had lost 2 mins only and she said - we have already lost sometime. Let's see how much we can get done with..I felt like I was being rushed the entire time for the responses. I felt like I did good but wasn't surprised that she didn't pass me. I hope they evaluate their interviewers as the experience I had after this time was exceptionally bad.

1. Tell me about yourself 2. Why product at Capital one? 3. What are the important things to be a good product manager 4. Then the mini case started - it was on mobile banking app. The goal was to increase the usage of mobile banking app. There were 2 unique features users only got on the mobile app - remote deposit and purchase notifictaions. She asked what is the benefit the bank is getting from this app. Then come up with something that will dramatically increase the usage of the app. 5. After this she said that in the current purchase notifications, the customers are frustrated and they are complaining that it is too many clicks for the users and we need to create an app by remocing the multiple clicks. What are some of the technical considerations needed. What will you do? 6. You find out that u have a dependency on another team but the other team has no availability for next 6 months. You go to the sr. Leadership. What will you say to the sr. Leadership? 7. Then i was presented with a new design and i had to talk about what I liked in the design and what I did not like in the design. 8. After that I was presented with data with Test1, Test2 and Test3 for several days, with the number of viewers, click rate, conversion rate and asked me what do i think about it and what would i want to see next.
