I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX) in Feb 2016
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter. There were multiple stages that consists of a phone screen, hackerrank test, a data science challenge and finally a series of onsite interview rounds. Unlike other interviews where selection is heavily weighted on behavioral type questions, Capital One tests on the actual skills that you would require on the job that ranges from technical coding rounds, tests on domain knowledge in statistics and analytical skill tests to job fit behavioral rounds. The recruiter was amazing and she was the best part of the entire process. She was very good in her job. The entire process that lasted for a little more than 3 weeks was completely hassle free and she made sure i get all the information at the right time.
