I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capitol Canary (Arlington, VA) in Oct 2018
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter about the position. After a phone screen, she set up a Skype interview with the hiring manager. The final round was an in-person panel interview with 4 members of the product and engineering teams.
It was a very positive experience because they were responsive to any of my questions, moved quickly through the process, and were very transparent about the company. They also didn't ask any "gotcha" trick questions and were instead more interested in evaluating my skill level and working style.
