The interview process started with a screening with TA, followed by an in-person interview with the SVP of Design and another team member. The final round was conducted via Teams with the VP of TA. The process was prolonged with frequent changes to dates and times to accommodate the team's schedule. Unfortunately, I was ghosted after meeting with four different team members, which I found unprofessional. I understand the challenges of managing multiple candidates and aligning schedules within a team. However, it's crucial to maintain professionalism and respect for candidates who invest their time and effort in the interview process. Ghosting someone after they've taken time out of their day to come onsite for interviews with two staff members and perhaps even used their PTO to accommodate the schedule is simply not acceptable. It not only reflects poorly on the company's reputation but also disregards the candidate's investment and interest in the opportunity. Clear and timely communication, even if it's to convey a decision that might not be favorable, is fundamental to upholding professional standards in recruitment. It ensures that candidates, who are eager for feedback and closure, are treated with the respect they deserve throughout the hiring process.
