      Software Developer In Test Interview

      Nov 20, 2017
      Anonymous employee
      Waltham, MA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Carbon Black (Waltham, MA) in Oct 2017

      Interview

Interview started with a phone conversation with a recruiter, followed by a coding interview that was conducted on the web/phone. Coding questions were fairly low level problems with a chance for the interviewer to see thought process, style, interaction with a fellow dev. One round of in house interviews with developers, QA managers was mainly an exploration of background and a mutual search for fit.
