Be prepared to get an interview, hear about how excellent you are for the position, be told that you should expect to have a follow up with another coordinator within a matter of days...and then never hear back. I read plenty of reviews posted that described similar outcomes. In the end, getting an actual response of "no" would be nice. Seriously unprofessional. Don't become attached.
Interview itself was only of a preliminary nature. Quick 10 minute chat describing the position, ending with the interviewer having me reiterate what was already mentioned in my resume. (If she wasn't in her car during the call and actually had my resume in front of her, she'd probably already know the answers.) I definitely over-prepared for this. What an incredible waste. I have heard great things about this company and understand that they must be flooded with applicants for most open positions, but how about a quick automated email with a rejection? So people can sincerely move on?
