I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Carrier (Syracuse, NY) in Apr 2012
Interview
Initially contacted after a career fair Interviewed with two different people from management along with one team member and the HR coordinator. The interviews were very friendly and focused of establishing what past history I had in HVAC. They had co-op paperwork ready for me after I finished the interviews. HR typically only gives you a week to get back with your decision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions I received were based on past experience. No technical questions. They may ask you to relocate to another facility that is not the same as the one you interviewed at.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Carrier (Huntington, IN) in Apr 2020
Interview
Easy interview mostly behavioral questions, but unprofessional. I followed up multiple times to get feedback (positive or negative), and I got ghosted. A candidate's time is valuable too. I am glad I didn't get the offer.
The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Carrier
Interview
I applied got an HR interview then a phone interview with the hiring manager, got told I wasn't going to the next stage, then a month later they asked me to come in for a in person interview. I went 6 hours long no break. (way to long). left and then emailed 4 weeks after asking the status, they didn't respond, super rude of a company not to answer.
Had a long marathon interview in person at their charlotte plant. I was an intern previously so I didn't have to redo a phone interview. It was nice, but very long, a interview presentation in the beginning. Much of the time I had 30 mins to speak to a separate team member.
