I had an initial interview with HR where we discussed my interest in the role and in the company, and I learned more about both the position and the organisation. The goal was to assess whether there was a mutual fit. During this conversation, they also explained the compensation, benefits, and the next steps in the hiring process. The feedback was very quick, I was contacted the same day to schedule the next stage.
The second interview was with the hiring manager and focused more on technical and situational questions, which I answered using the STAR method. It also served as a chemistry meeting to see how well I would fit within the team.
After that, I had another interview with a different manager from the same team, which again included technical questions and a team fit discussion.
Originally, the process included two additional steps: a “Celonis Challenge” (an ad hoc brief related to the role) and another interview with an internal stakeholder. However, these final steps did not take place because both Celonis and I were aligned on moving forward with my hiring, and there was a need to proceed as quickly as possible.
