I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Celonis
Interview
Extremely pleasant interview experience:
- HR hiring team very professional and efficient, providing relevant details about the position I've applied to and other possible open positions
- once the mutual interest was confirmed, I've had a very pleasant interview with the line manager of the open position (the person interested in hiring, my future manager). Open conversation on past experiences and expectations, very interesting and comfortable
- as third round, I've had to prepare a case simulation, to be commented with other two colleagues of the future team. Very well structured material and guidelines, I've enjoyed both the preparation process and sharing session
- also, during the process I've used very interesting online tools to share my references and take logical/numerical tests

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Celonis in Aug 2021
Interview
Hard to overstate. Probably best process I've had in my career.
In-house recruiter reached out. End to end the process took 7 weeks. Recruitment interview followed by line manager, challenge (presentation to line manager and a team colleague followed by more fit/experience questions), executive interview, psychometric tests and references.
Overall I found the interviewing steps were perfect to allow me to know the company better, understand what they were looking for and showcase my profile, all this without the process being overly onerous and with a good mix of formal and informal sessions. What I liked most about it is that each step allowed both parties (certainly me) to test and confirm interest and fit...none of the steps were irrelevant formalities or tick-box exercises.
I met my line manager twice, one more informal, one more formal which I found a great mix to get to know each other in both contexts. They were most interested in explaining what he was after in very simple terms, which allowed me to understand what the role and vision was about - he placed a lot of emphasis on understand what was my ambition and career prospects and asked Why Celonis a few times in our interactions (rightly so!).
The recruiter was fabulous both in conversations but also behind the stage moving things forward and sharing feedback quickly and timely (I most instances in matter of hours). There were also interim checks at every step step to make sure we were all aligned - useful to avoid wasting time. I had not seen a recruiter adding so much value to an interview process before - in one of the interim stages, we were on the phone for more than an hour - made me feel like we had explored every corner of the case - reassuring!
All the other offline components (references, test) are done with state of the art tools which are very easy to use and complete, all online and from any device.
