I was interviewed for a hybrid role where I'd design and develop landing pages and some other assets for the company. There were three rounds.
I crushed the first two rounds. I was told an offer was incoming and to send over my documents so I can get processed. I had written up my letter to leave my current job. They asked me to have coffee with the marketing manager which I agreed. He canceled coffee due to being sick, that day we had a bad skype connection and moved to a phone call. The call went OK but he was obviously not invested in the conversation. A few days later I was told they were no longer going forward.
So after meeting with 7 different people, sending them all of my sensitive paperwork, was told an offer was incoming, one of the seven people I met with who was sick decided I wasn't the right candidate.
Very unprofessional and against their alleged company values. I still really liked the people I had met before, but the process exhibited weak leadership and poor judgment. Another warning sign was during my on-site interview someone literally was yelling that someone stole her cup. It was bizarre but it kind of shed a light on the vibe of the place.
