I received a phone screen from the recruiter, she was very personable and lovely to talk with. I was then invited to schedule a phone screen with CFO hiring manager. He was a very dynamic and driven personality on the phone, I felt we connected well; most especially after I started asking quesstions about the company from my research. He seemed to relax and open up during our conversation.
Then I was invited for a face to face interview. The office is a very nice location and appearance of a dynamic, prospering, company. However, the interview lasted 10 minutes and I was shown the door. He appeared to not want to better understand my technical skills and how they may fit. It appears a superficial judgement of whether I would be a cultural fit in that office. I am a mature and experienced EA with 20 years of senior level experience.
