I applied online. I interviewed at Cetera Financial Group (El Segundo, CA)
Interview
The interview process started with an initial series of phone interviews with HR and then my would-be manager. Straight to the point and nothing out of the ordinary. I was invited a week later for a super day to interview with members of the finance team. The interviews with the people from the FP&A team were more technical and the rest were just to get to know more about me.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cetera Financial Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
Had an initial phone screen with a recruiter. Unlike most recruiters he seemed genuinely interested in my background and skill set and took the time to get to know me.
A few weeks later I had an in person interview with several members of the team. Everyone was very nice and personable. Seems like an awesome group of people. Although I didn't get the job, it was still a great experience getting to know the people and learn about the company.
