Waaaaay too many interviews. This was a big red flag for me. The position was associate level and had no direct reports. No need to interview with 7 people across two months. Then, after taking two months to interview me, they wanted an answer on the offer letter in 48 hours. I would’ve signed it if they would have interviewed me faster. I didn’t because in those two months, I got two other offers. Declined CP for one of the others. Because of the multiple interviews, I answered the same questions over and over again. A streamlined interview process would get CP the desired candidate in the door quickly. Recruiters were professional, but because I was communicating with two of them for the same role, there were multiple miscommunications. Nice people, though. Recruiter phone screen (30 mins), HM interview (45 mins), 1:1s with cross teams (3 hours total). Writing samples required (3). Way too many (uncompensated) interviews.
