I applied online. I interviewed at Chase (Phoenix, AZ) in Jun 2017
Interview
Your online application/resume is review and they follow it up almost immediately with a "We'd like to get to know you better" email with instructions to perform on a recorded interview where you are asked several customer service questions of different topics. They then take several weeks to respond (you have to be constantly be checking your online applications for status because they do not send you an email notifying you of status change) with a polite rejection email stating "Thank you for your interest in this position. We have identified other candidates more suited to this position; however, you are welcome to apply to future open positions." One-year experience and GED is all that is needed!!
Several weeks later, they post the same position at the same location AGAIN! And to add insult, they send you an email to your online application account they are positions you may be interested in.
This has inklings of discrimination in more than one way and makes them hypocritical regarding their job requirements posting.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Briefly describe how your education and/or work experience will help you to be successful in this position.
A face-to-face over the computer. The first interview was great and I went on to the second interview. I did not get the position and of course they do not say why.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Describe a time you had to adapt to a changing or complex environment at work. 1.) the situation, 2.) your actions, 3.) the outcome.
The interview process was easy. There were 2 interviews before I was hired and the onboarding process was a breeze. I did have to go do a drug test and a background check which was a little time consuming
It was ok and could have been better. Not sure if I got the job or not. Seems like they were in a rush to pick someone. I think there’s better jobs out there.
