I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chase (Chicago, IL) in May 2014
Interview
Initially, the process started with a phone interview. The recruiter would ask a few questions about my job history, what kind of things I liked and did not like about my previous jobs, and what goals I had. If the recruiter felt I was a good fit for the role, he/she would set up time for an interview with a Branch Manager.
With the Branch Manager, it would be a similar experience, but with more depth on the specfic position.
After all of that, you would get a call from the recruiter again to tell you whether to were offered the position or not.
Pretty easy interview. Just prepare to answer your sales experience, preferably in branch banking. Also be good at charming and making a connection with the interviewers since it is a sales job.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chase (San Diego, CA) in Feb 2026
Interview
Three interviews: phone, in person with branch manager, final phone call with regional manager/market director. Questions mostly behavioral and related to experience as a teller, and whether I was comfortable with warm calling.

Question 1
What were you most proud of in your professional and or personal life?
The interview process was very good and asks a lot of questions about sales experience or banking experience. If you’re licensed that is a plus. Recruiter called, then met with hiring manager and another branch manager. Total process took about 3-4 weeks
