Several Rounds seemed like the perfect fit, rejected at the very final discussion...? I interviewed with the entire team for a very specific role I have the perfect skillset for. All went well. The final interview was with an exec from a different department since the HR exec role is open. This person apparently didn't like me and called me too junior (this position is a lateral for me at a much smaller company??). Despite months of successful interviews this 20 minute conversation was the end for me... Very strange and a big waste of time sending work samples and everything.
