The interview process was very stale. First interview was with HR and then the second interview was a panel interview. It felt like a very formal interview for it to be via teams... it was round after round of questions with not much personality and not much diversity from the team (all red flags). Received an email stating there was high interest in the position internally and externally and the team decided to go with a different candidate. I hate that they wasted my time if they knew all along they wanted to hire someone internally.
