two in-person interviews. I have done 3 in-person interviews for 2 positions with Cheterfield County Government for a GIS Analyst and GIS Technician positions. Like all local governments in VA and many states they only hire their buddies and friends for position. They are overrun with cronyism and nepotism. If you are a technical professional and college graduate you are better applying for jobs in the private industry. Chances are you will not get through all of the red-tape with local governments to get a job with them.
