I was offered a phone interview for this position and spoke with an HR recruiter about the role as a first round. The interview was scheduled for 30 minutes, but lasted no more than 15. She asked basic questions, such as talk me through your resume, and tell me about your experience with X role, etc. She ended the interview quickly by saying that she would speak with the hiring manager and get back to me in "a day or two". It has now been almost 3 weeks and I have heard nothing from her. I have sent 2 follow ups and still have received no response. This might be the most unprofessional recruiting experience I have ever had. This persons job is solely to help with the recruiting process and she can't even answer a simple follow up email letting me know that I did not get the job? As much as I was excited about the potential for this role, it is really disheartening to be left hanging like this with no information.
