I was contacted initially by the recruiter a day or two after I applied for the position. I was asked to schedule some time on her calendar to meet, which I did very easily. The call wasn't scheduled for a few more weeks, however, so that wait was long. Once I had that call with the recruiter, though, it moved very quickly from there.
I was able to interview the next day with two hiring managers. They asked me questions related to Chewy's operating principles, which was really cool. Behavioral-based interviewing questions, asking me to provide examples of times I had done certain things. Pretty standard questions for a leadership role.
The recruiter reached out the next day and let me know that I would be moving forward to a panel interview, the following Friday. I received some helpful information to assist in preparing for the upcoming interview, and I also received an Uber Eats voucher for $25 to get lunch the day of my interview! I thought that was really awesome.
The panel interview was more questions based on operating principles, which I was expecting, and there were three people on the video chat with me.
This was a Friday, and I heard from the recruiter on Monday to set up some time on Tuesday morning. I got the offer on Tuesday, and accepted the same day!
Overall, this was a very positive experience. The hardest part was the initial wait to speak to the recruiter, but from there I went from screen to offer in less than two weeks.
